It’s a lovely plant, Jo. I see them for sale in Southern California every so often, although I haven’t had much luck growing them for any length of time myself. I expect they want more water and humidity than my climate can provide. I understand they do really well in Florida.

Ixora grow very easily here, Kris, so you must be right about them liking the humidity – we have that in bucketloads during summer!
