Feeling small, under a large sky.

April 19, 2021 Joanne9 Comments

Late in the day, as the birds quieten, the sun disappears behind the horizon, and darkness fall around me, that is the time of day when I feel so immensely small beneath the huge expanse of the darkening sky.

That’s the way I felt tonight when I took these photos of Mount Warning.

Words to ponder ~~

“The possession of a quantity of plants, however good the plants may be themselves and however ample their number, does not make a garden; it only makes a collection. Having got the plants, the great thing is to use them with careful selection and definite intention.” ~~ Gertrude Jekyll.
