You spotted my miniature roses – I wondered if anyone would. 🙂 They are waiting patiently for a future post. LikeLiked by 1 person Reply
I grow Alyssum in pots in summer and it went on flowering this year, even after a couple of frosts, until the snow arrived. 😃 Thanks for sharing! LikeLiked by 1 person Reply
Do the dropped seeds regrow, Cathy? I can lose alyssum to the heat, then when the weather cools a new plant emerges nearby. LikeLike Reply
Some annuals do that, but I have never noticed any Alyssum seedlings so perhaps they are just too cold sensitive. LikeLiked by 1 person Reply
That’s a shame. Pop up surprises in the garden are always interesting, so long as they are flowers and not weeds. 😉 LikeLiked by 1 person Reply
This stirred up some pleasant memories. Years ago I used to grow alyssum in my garden! Yours looks as delicate and pretty as I remember it. LikeLiked by 1 person Reply
It’s a gorgeous plant for edging a garden. Can you grow it in the woods, I wonder? LikeLiked by 1 person Reply
I wonder. I haven’t seen it in the nurseries but will keep an eye open. The internet says it’s exceptionally deer-resistant so it might be a great option for this area — lol. LikeLiked by 1 person Reply
