This week, I have been a tad out of sorts, with a cold and laryngitis. So today, I appreciate the Silence of Sunday …
In other news, my computer went to heaven. Yesterday, however, my son-in-law installed a new computer for me, so I’m back online. My iPad just didn’t cut it when trying to read blogs and add comments. I will catch up with everyone this week.
And on the weather front, we had a couple of fine, mosquito-free days, which resulted in an amazing sunset in the valley. This photo is straight out of the camera.
Have a wonderful weekend. ❤
Hope you’re feeling better, Joanne and I love the photo 💚

I hope you’re feeling better soon, Joanne. Summer colds are no fun, not that winter colds are fun either… Congratulations on your new computer! Helpful son-in-laws are such a blessing. ♡ What a beautiful sunset!

Thank you, Barbara. The son-in-law who installed my new computer is the same one who helps me in the garden. He has worked in landscaping, many years ago, but for most of the time I have known him he has worked in the computer industry. I’m not sure what his actual title is at work, but he seems to be able to do everything computer related. 🙂

I always like your images of that distant ridge. Hope you get feeling better … and cheers to the new computer.

That’s great to hear, thank you, Frank. 🙂 That is Mount Warning, but she has been hiding behind mist and clouds quite a lot lately.

Lovely sunset with the sleeping giant. Hope you feel better soon!

She really is a sleeping giant – have I ever mentioned that Mount Warning is an extinct volcano?
… I am editing my comment to add that I just look up the online info – she last erupted 23 million years ago!

I hope you’re feeling better! I use my iPad mainly for playing games and reading books, although I do take it, along with a wireless keyboard, when I travel because it’s lighter weight than my laptop. If I’m going to do much typing, I want a regular keyboard, for sure. Love that sunset – and those craggy mountains.

Thank you, Carol. 🙂 iPads definitely have their place, but I hit so many obstacles when trying to add comments on it, so I just gave up. I much prefer a keyboard for typing too.

I think the mozzies left with the rain and mist, and it was great to see the mountain again! 🙂

It was the first time we’d seen the mountain in a while, Julie. It’s been hidden by mist so much lately!
