This plant is a few years old and flowers quite often, Karma, but it isn’t just now. Regardless, it seemed like an appropriate Silent Sunday plant to post, due to the name. You may have heard that there was a mass stabbing incident in Sydney over the weekend, and the mood in Australia is currently quite somber. 😞
If you’re anything like me, you might not listen to the news often. This news is so big here that there’s no way it can be missed. In Australia, I think we take for granted that we live in a “safe” country, where violent acts are rare, so it comes as a huge shock when anything like this happens.
I’ll be posting a vase of happy flowers today though. ❤ And catching up on blog posts too! I’ve been lagging lately. xx
I try not to pay much attention to the news either, it is usually so depressing. Of course an event like this is impossible to avoid. No one in the US will ever forget where they were when they heard about the events of 9/11
