Silent Sunday ~ Hydrangea

        1. I don’t think I’ve seen them! I have one hydrangea in dappled shade and the other gets full sun. During summer, the one in the sun gets droopy leaves if I don’t water it every day. They are thirsty plants.

      1. Summer heat is an issue but the crux of the problem is that they’re too thirsty. Only my cutting garden gets a lot of water – everything else needs to get along with the bare minimum.

          1. We have decent luck with citrus trees, guavas and persimmons. Stone fruit trees don’t do well. I used to grow tomatoes and peas in what’s now my cutting garden but then it gets extra water. Other than herbs, vegetables wouldn’t survive in my general garden beds.
