I have the answers to your questions of course, Frank. π
The photo was taken late in the afternoon, and the smoke is from farmers burning sugarcane in the valley before harvesting the fields. And the tiny lights you see in the valley are in a town called Murwillumbah, which sits close to the base of Mount Warning.
I like it because questions pop into my head … time of day … about the smoke … that tiny light in the distance

The valley can be very moody at times, Trini. π

Still burning cane? I’d have thought they’d be done by now…

Definitely smoke, Kathy. π I donβt think we will see too many more sugarcane fires this year, so I was pleased to capture this one.
